Upper Bear Creek Community Council to meet Jan. 23
Upper Bear Creek Community Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at the Woodinville Water District office, 17238 NE Woodinville/Duvall Rd.
King County Department of Transportation representatives Mathew Nolan and Luke Korpi will give an update on the proposed widening of Woodinville-Duvall Road from the city limits of Woodinville east to Avondale. King County Councilmembers Louise Miller and Cynthia Sullivan will also be in attendance. The Bear Creek Council is especially interested in how the change will affect the two King County park properties that are on the Woodinville-Duvall Rd. Public comment will be sought in the planning process for the widening.
Coming in February to the Bear Creek Community Council meetings will be Connie Blumen from King County Parks to speak on plans for Daniels Creek Park and Susie Kalhorn with proposals on how to implement the new ESA regulations in the tri-county area.
