Roy Millbrandt lands 120-lb. marlin in Mexico

Roy Millbrandt and his wife, Sue, recently returned from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, having caught a 120 lb., 102" long marlin.
"I was fishing with a 50-lb. test line using live mackerel for bait," said Millbrandt. "I caught the fish at 10:30 a.m. and it fought for 35 explosive minutes. It was like pulling up a sunken locomotive. The fish was every color of the rainbow.
"It was the largest fish caught in that area that day," he continued. "Everyone was celebrating. We cooked the fish at the hotel and distributed 40 lbs. among the guests.
"I am having it stuffed by a taxodermist suitable for framing on the wall. Kenny Rogers was staying at our hotel and told me it was a good catch."
Millbrandt is the owner of Millbrandt Company, Inc, and lives in Bothell.
