Food bank appreciated holiday kindness

The Maltby Food Bank clients had a wonderful Christmas. We were blessed with love and caring from our network of friends. Woodinville postal patrons were a big part of our success.
You have cared for our clients for many years. The families tell us about the wonderful gifts they have received for Christmas. They are surprised that there are people who they do not know who will buy gifts for their children. Your acts of kindness show them there are many caring individuals who do show the true meaning of Christmas, with selfless acts of love and concern.
Our contact at the post office did tell us that most of you would like to have a name and gift idea with each slip. We will return to that plan next year.
Thank you, everyone, for giving our families, seniors and children a wonderful, wonderful Christmas. So many of our clients have told us that with your help, their children were able to still believe in Santa. You made Christmas a joyful time, not a stressful one, for these families.
Thank you for being one of our very special blessings. God bless each of you.
