Shelly Lynn Cochran Scott

Shelly Lynn Cochran Scott, 39, died Dec. 8, 2000, in Muncie, Ind. She was born April 16, 1961, in Chicago, Ill. She attended Bothell High School and graduated from Shoreline Community College.
   She moved to Muncie, Ind., in 1995 and received her bachelor's degree cum laude in social work from Ball State University in Muncie. She was employed at the Whitewater Valley Care Pavilion in Connersville, Ind., while living in Muncie.
   Surviving are her husband, Timothy Scott of Muncie; her daughter, Kristen Finstad, of California; her mother, Peggy Cochran of Bothell; her father, Chuck Cochran of Kirkland; her brother, Tim Cochran of Newport, Ore.; two sisters, Connie Garner of Kirkland, and Cindy Cochran Laudermilk (husband Paul), of Maple Valley; her mother-in-law, Adeline Scott; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Jan Scott, Kathy Scott, and James and Julia Scott, all of Muncie; four nieces, three nephews and several aunts and uncles.
   She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jonathan Scott Cochran.
   Services and burial were held in Muncie on Dec. 13.
   She had many friends in the Bothell area and all are invited to a Celebration of the Life of Shelly at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, in the clubhouse at Green Acres Park, 23825 15th Avenue S.E., Bothell.
