Eric Adman named Commuter of the Year
BOTHELL - Eric Adman, a senior firefighter for the City of Bothell Fire and E.M.S., was awarded the Community Transit "Commuter of the Year" award this year. Over 100 people gathered at the Everett Naval Station's Grand Vista Ballroom on Jan. 24 to honor the hard work of those involved in commute trip reduction.
Adman is the first City of Bothell employee to be nominated for his efforts. He was named the Commuter of the First Quarter earlier this year and his photo has been featured on several Community Transit buses.
Eric rides his bike to work every day. He works 24-hour shifts at the downtown firehouse.
"We are really proud of Eric," said Chief Marcus Kragness. "This is another way we make a difference in our community. Eric is very overwhelmed at the attention he's been receiving, because biking to work is as much a part of his day as brushing his teeth."
