Hollywood Hill signs up to fight second cell tower

Hollywood Hill residents gathered Saturday, Feb. 3, on the corner of NE 160th and 158th NE to sign petitions to stop the installation of a second cell tower in their neighborhood and to support King County Councilmember Louise Miller's recent amendments to the county ordinance limiting placement of the towers.. In all, over 160 signatures were gathered. Residents are fearful of the dangers cell towers can allegedly cause to pacemakers, electric wheelchairs and other electronic home medical devices, according to Russ Hanson, Hollywood Hill resident.
