Je T'Aime, Ti Amo, I Love You

DUVALL - In any language, the message is the same. Soprano Awilda Verdejo celebrates the language of love when she performs Amor at Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center in Duvall on Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Drawing from the cultures of Cuba, France, Germany, Italy and the United States, Verdejo weaves a thread of love throughout the evening-length program.
Accompanied by pianist Hartwig Eichberg, she transports her audience through the transformative power of her voice. Trained at The Julliard School, her credits include performances with the American Opera Center, the New York City Opera, the Kennedy Center in Washington, the Los Angeles Music Center and the Stuttgart Opera in Germany.
This Arts Onstage presentation is part of the King County Performance Network, a collaboration among the King County Arts Commission, local arts organizations and performing artists. The goals of the Performance Network are to develop new regional audiences and appreciation for contemporary performance; to increase performing opportunities, skills and earned income potential for local arts organizations and artists, and to improve the presenting skills of local arts agencies.
Recognized nationally as a model program, the King County Performance Network brings regional artists and audiences together throughout the county.
