Rotary presents check to seniors.

*At their Feb. 6 meeting held at the Columbia Winery, Woodinville Rotarians presented the Northshore Senior Center with a check for $9,000 which assisted them with the purchase of a wheel chair accessible van.
  

Historical walk through Country Village.

*Take a walk on the historical side Saturday, Feb. 24, at Country Village for a fascinating history of the buildings beginning with the original 1901 farmhouse.
  

Upper Bear Creek meeting set for Feb. 27

*Connie Blummen from King County Parks will bring revised plans for Daniels Creek Park and Susie Kalhorn from DDES will review proposals on how to implement the new ESA regulations in the tri-county area of King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties.
  

Seniors torch mortgage.

*CARNATION-It's everybody's dream to be debt-free when they retire. The Sno-Valley seniors are no different. And recently their dream came true when the seniors were presented with a $157,000 check to pay off the Sno-Valley Senior Center mortgage.

*DUVALL - It was smiles all around when District 3 Councilwoman Louise Miller, on behalf of the Metropolitan King County Council, presented the city of Duvall with a Chevrolet Astro minivan recently.
