Chilly Hilly opens NW cycling season

Chilly Hilly, the official opener of the Northwest cycling season, is set for Sunday, Feb. 25. Join 2500 cyclists on a beautiful 33-mile loop around Bainbridge Island. It's great fun for everyone - from those just out for a good time who don't care if they push their bikes up the hills to speedy racers going as fast as they can. Funds from the event support Cascade Bicycle Club's award winning education program such as bike rodeos and helmet campaigns for kids. Funds also help Cascade protect the region's bike trails and keep the roads bike-friendly. Cascade Bicycle Club is one of the oldest, largest bike clubs in the U.S. with nearly 4,000 members and over 1,000 free, public rides a year.
