Woodinville High School invites adults to attend "An Evening for our Kids" Wednesday, March 7, at the school.

The presentation will cover drugs, alcohol and over-the- counter medications that are being used in alarming numbers by children. Guest speaker will be David Scratchley, Ph.D., a faculty member in the Addiction Studies Program at Seattle University and a consultant for Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers.
   Jerry Blackburn, CDC, will also speak. He is an adolescent chemical dependency counselor with Lakeside-Milam and currently works in the Northshore School District as an intervention/prevention specialist.
   Participants at the presentation will be able to access information from chemical dependency professionals, local police and resource officers, school staff and school security, teen and parent panels and local community groups.
   The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with pizza and refreshments in the cafeteria. The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the school theater. For information, call 489-6773.
