Youth Art Show debuts at Celebrate Woodinville festivities

The annual Celebrate Woodinville festivities scheduled for Saturday, March 31, will have a new addition this year.
The Youth Art Show will make its debut at the Woodinville Community Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will have on hand a display of local area youth artwork. Youth from kindergarten to 12th grade have been given the challenge to come and show off their artistic talents with original artwork. The artwork will be judged and awards given in three categories: Visual Arts (drawing, painting, and printmaking), Photography and 3-D Sculpture.
All artwork will be recognized, and there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons awarded in the four age groups: Primary (Kindergarten-2rd grade), Intermediate (3rd-5th grade), Jr. High (6th-8th grade) and High School (9th-12th grade).
For anyone needing any information or having any questions about participation in this new art show, contact Woodinville Parks and Recreation at (425) 398-9327.
Flyers and entry forms are also available at City Hall. Information is also provided on the city's Web site: www.woodinville-city.com.
