District offers Summer Traffic Safety Program

The Northshore School District Traffic Safety Education Summer Program will be held at Inglemoor High School, 15500 Simonds Rd. NE Kenmore. Students must be 15 years old by the first day of class to participate. Classes will run from June 22 to July 20.
   Classroom instruction is scheduled daily for two hours. Four class periods are offered with starting times at 7:30 and 9:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.
   Driving times are scheduled two or three times weekly for two hours in addition to the daily classroom instruction. Driving times will either precede or follow the classroom periods.
   Tuition for the course is $180 and must be paid before the start of class.
   Students who qualify for the free/reduced program may also be eligible for a reduced tuition fee.
   All registrations for the summer program will be done by telephone or in person at the district Traffic Safety Office in the WA Anderson Building, 18603 Bothell Way NE. No registrations will be done at the junior highs or high schools.
   Since district transportation will not be provided, those who are going to carpool should register for common class periods.
