Huskies from Woodinville make it happen

*Retired Leota Junior High Coach, Terry Eagle, recalled the 1994-95 school year when he coached Marques Tuiasosopo and Pat Conniff. Tuiasosopo and Conniff were in the eighth grade.

*The basketball season for the Woodinville boys' varsity team ended at last Monday night's award banquet held at the high school.
  

Stewart wins Reserve Champion Award

*Recently, 12 year-old Britny Stewart, daughter of Monika and Gordon Stewart of Duvall, was awarded "Reserve Champion" in her division in the Washington State Hunter and Jumper Association awards banquet for the year 2000.
  

FC Alliance Magic are champs

*The FC Alliance Magic GU12 soccer team won their league championship, making it to the state cup quarterfinals.
  

Sounders win state title

*Lake Washington Select Soccer Club Boys U12 Crossfire Sounders won their second consecutive State Title on March 10, defeating the YMCA Blasters of Tacoma in a shoot out at the Snicker's Cup State Championship Tournament held at Federal Way Stadium.
  

FCA Defiance '87 wins sportsmanship award

*FCA Defiance '87, a BU14 select team playing out of the Northshore Youth Soccer Association's FC Alliance Club, capped off a successful year by winning the NYSA Sportsmanship Award for the 2000 season, scoring their second award and repeating the team's 1999 achievement.
