All Fools' Day Parade Grand Marshals
UW Husky quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo and fullback Pat Conniff will serve as Parade Grand Marshals for Woodinville's annual All Fools' Day Parade and Basset Bash on Saturday, March 31.
Said Brenda Vanderloop, publicity coordinator for the parade, "The Parade Grand Marshals are generally chosen as representatives of the community, whether recognized as a volunteer or a local business owner supportive of the community."
Publisher of the Woodinville Weekly, Carol Edwards, led the parade last year as Parade Grand Marshal. Glen Kelly, a longtime parade organizer for the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, held the honorable position the year before that.
In addition to Tuiasosopo and Conniff holding the honor this year‹their mothers, Tina Tuiasosopo and Sally Conniff, will serve on a panel to judge parade entries in their categories, such as "most foolish float" or "best horse" or "best vehicle."
The All Fools' Day Parade begins downtown on 175th Street at 11 a.m.
