Homeschool convention to feature workshop, speeches

The Southwest Washington Homeschool Convention will take place on April 7 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This year's convention features workshops such as Field Trips That Add Sparkle to Your Homeschool by Teri Brown, A Passion for History by historian and author Mark Weaver, Exciting Hands on Science by Andy Stratton, Using Literature as a Teaching Tool by Barbara Blakey, Math Not So Scary by Kim O'Hara.
In addition to speakers there is an entire gym full of homeschool curriculum, both new and used.
This convention attracts homeschoolers from all over the state because of its inexpensive costs to attend ($18 pre-registration) and central location in Lacey.
