Police Beat

March 26: At 9 a.m., a Chevrolet pickup was reported stolen from its legally parked spot in the 19500 block of 144th Avenue northeast.
The owner of the truck gave no one permission to use the vehicle. Only he had keys and the truck was locked. The owner believes the theft took place between 10:30 p.m. on March 25 and 7 a.m. on March 26.
March 25: At 10:36 a.m., a truck stolen from Redmond the day previous was recovered from a parking lot in the 14100 block of northeast 181st Place.
The complex in which the stolen truck was parked had the vehicle impounded because it was parked in an assigned space for one full day. The vehicle was locked and in good condition license plates were still on, there was no apparent damage to the ignition. Rain made lifting finger prints on the outside of the vehicle impossible; however, clear prints were found on several beer bottles and cans left inside the truck by the suspects.
No further information at this time.
