Eastside Volunteer Fair

Family Resource Center, the Eastside's Human Services Campus, will host its fourth annual Eastside Volunteer Fair on Thursday, April 12, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The fair is sponsored by Microsoft with support from Redmond National Bank.
Celebrating 10 years of service this year, Family Resource Center, is a nonprofit agency that owns a three-building campus in downtown Redmond.
Eighteen independent agencies serving the Eastside operate from the campus and partner with each other and the community to increase access to community services.
Almost three dozen health and human services organizations from throughout the Eastside will participate in the Fair.
They will share ways that individuals, families, corporate teams, civic groups and faith communities can "weave themselves into the community" by supporting nonprofit efforts.
Tabletop displays and a casual drop-in atmosphere will allow prospective volunteers to easily gather information and converse with staff and volunteers.
Larger volunteer organizations, such as United Way Volunteer Center, will participate as well.
Designed to serve as an end-of-day party, the fair features jazz music and appetizers.
Family Resource Center is located across from the Bella Botega movie theater at 16225 NE 87th in downtown Redmond.
Check out the Center's Web site for directions and more at www.familyresourcecenter.org. For more information, call Family Resource Center at (425) 869-6699.
