The City of Carnation Recycling Center will begin summer hours on Wednesday, April 4. Summer hours are Wednesday 1-7 p.m.; Thursday and Friday noon-4 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday noon-4 p.m.
Carnation yard waste recycling is available only to city residents who are reminded to bring their city utility bill stub to confirm residency. Recyclers who live outside the city limits are asked to pay $1 per trip to recycle other materials (cardboard, mixed paper, newspaper, cans, bottles, glass, plastic). There is also a plastic plant pot exchange.
