SPROUTS Children's Theatre presents 'Rumpelstiltskin'

DUVALL SPROUTS Children's Theatre, a division of the SecondStory Repertory, brings the magical tale, "Rumpelstiltskin" to the Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center as the final presentation in the 2000-2001 Arts Onstage season.
This original musical adaptation tells the story of a strange little man who helps out a young girl by spinning straw into gold, but oh, what a price he wants in return! There's plenty of fun, mystery and music along the way, lots of audience participation, and of course, the raucous chase scene which has long been a SPROUTS trademark.
From its debut in October 1999, The SecondStory Repertory has provided the highest quality of performance and education in the Northwest. This professional ensemble has quickly become a popular addition to the growing cultural scene on Seattle's Eastside.
The Duvall Arts Commission, in collaboration with the King County Performance Network, presents SPROUTS Children's Theatre on Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m., in the Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center in Duvall. Tickets to SPROUTS "Rumpelstiltskin" are available at Pumps and Grinds, Gardens & Sunspaces and Duvall Books in Duvall or at Simply Grand in Carnation.
