Easter egg hunts, bonnets, brunches, parades
Woodinville Lions Club will host their annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at their hall located just north of Mack's Corner off Woodinville-Duvall Rd. The event is free. (425) 483-2693.
Northshore YMCA and Bothell Parks & Recreation will hold their annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at Westhill Elementary School. Free events include a visit from the Easter Bunny, face painting and the hunt for eggs. Parents should provide baskets for their children. (425) 485-9797.
The American Legion will host their annual Easter egg hunt at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at Memorial Park in Carnation.

The Snohomish Chamber of Commerce invites families to their annual Easter parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, beginning on First St. The day's events include an Easter bonnet contest (no age limit) immediately following the parade on First St. and Avenue B; an Easter egg hunt for children 8 and under at 9 a.m. at Pilchuck Park. Washington Cathedral will hold Easter egg hunts for children ages 2 years to 6th grade at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, and Friday, April 13; at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, and at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 15. Woodland Park Zoo's sixth annual Easter Brunch will be held at the Rain Forest Food Pavilion from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 15, at the Rain Forest Food Pavilion near the zoo's west gate at North 55th St. and Phinney Ave. N. The menu includes pastries, muffins, eggs benedict, smoked salmon with bagels, capers and cream cheese, carved honey baked ham, potatoes, breakfast meats, including a special visit from the Easter Bunny.
Additionally, there will be an animal experience during the brunch. Advance reservations and pre-payment required.
