NPEF plans fundraising event

The public is invited to attend the Northshore Public Education Foundation (NPEF) wine/appetizer fund raising event at The Hollywood Schoolhouse at 14810 NE 145th Street in Woodinville from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25.
The NPEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs, policies and partnerships that enhance the learning opportunities of Northshore students.
Founded in 1995, NPEF operates independently of the Northshore School District and relies on community contributions to fund its grants.
A contribution of $50/individual or $60/couple entitles you to participate in a silent auction and to enjoy an evening of fine wines and gourmet appetizers provided by the following local businesses and individuals: the Hollywood Schoolhouse, Facelli Winery, Silver Lake Sparkling Cellars, DeLille Cellars, Barking Frog at Willows Lodge, Mia Roma, My Favorite Caterer, Racha Thai Cuisine, Red Robin, Ristorante Italianissimo, Tully's Coffee, Wood'ys Grill and Bar, Woodinville Albertsons, Andrew's Hallmark, Molbak's, QFC, Super Rent, Thai Woodinville, Woodinville Café, Wyndham Garden Hotel, the Candy Garden, Barnes and Noble, the Northshore School Board, Dr. Karen Forys, Jan Graves, Kirby Larson and Vicki Opsata.
The event will provide an opportunity for community members to learn about the NPEF and see the types of projects funded.
Teachers and students will educate and entertain as they demonstrate their creative methods of teaching our children.
The audience will participate in discovering DNA in the science of "DNA Spooling."
Call for tickets by April 16. All contributions are tax deductible and go directly to Northshore classrooms.
Call or e-mail your name and address to the NPEF office at (425) 489-6380; e-mail or Bobbie Rettig at 483-1091
