UBCC to meet Tuesday, April 24

The Upper Bear Creek Community Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at the Woodinville Water District office, 17238 NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd. All interested community members are invited to attend.
   Tom Fox, Dept. of Natural Resources, will present the proposed "Re-use of Water in the Sammamish Valley" plan and its connection to the proposed BrightWater treatment facility.
   The location of this facility will also be discussed that evening at Woodinville High School from 6 to 8 p.m.
   An 18-month survey of resources and needs in King County, conducted by the Dept. of Human Services, will also be addressed. Barbara Solomon and Maria Ramirez will present the resulting profile of needs and services available in unincorporated King County.
   UBCC will be asked to comment on the implementation of the survey.
   UBCC meets the second and fourth Tuesday of most months.
