Katie Martin

Katie Michelle Martin of Woodinville went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2001. Katie, a diabetic, suffered an insulin reaction that was the cause of her automobile accident.
Born Feb. 26, 1984, a beloved daughter and sister, she will remain in the hearts of her parents, Curt and Glenda; brother, Noah; sister, Maggie; grandparents and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whose lives she changed forever.
Katie, a talented artist, was known for her creative and imaginative gifts. She attended SAS in Bothell and worked at the Ranch Drive-In. She was an active athlete who loved baseball.
Katie inspired her family, friends and community with her inner strength, contagious smile and bright eyes, which attributes to her memorial service being attended by over 450 people.
Friends of the Martin family have established a Katie Martin memorial fund. Donations may be made at any Washington Memorial branch.
So many lives have been blessed with Katie's presence here on earth. She will live forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
