Woodinville Garden Club's spring plant sale set for May 12

Woodinville Garden Club members announced the club's annual public plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville.
Club members will be available to offer expert assistance to the plant sale visitors who want advice about their selection of plants.
The plant assortment includes old favorites, both common and uncommon annuals and perennials.
Additionally, the sale will include several varieties of tomato plants, gallon pots of established perennials, a selection of geraniums and herbs, and decorative flower baskets.
The two types of hanging garden baskets are planted for either sun or shade for colorful growth that can enhance a patio or deck.
"Club members will have spent over 500 hours growing about 10,000 seedlings for the spring plant sale," says Sue Hughes, Woodinville Garden Club Greenhouse Chairman.
"This year we have included some plants that are drought-tolerant."
Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is located at 14111 NE 145th St.
