Health Care Clinic opens

Washington Cathedral's Health Resource Center announced the opening of a Health Care Clinic on its campus beginning Thursday, May 3. The clinic, staffed by a physician and a registered nurse, will be open 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Thursday to provide a wide range of professional and affordable health care services to the general public. Washington Cathedral is located at 12300 Woodinville-Redmond Road NE at the intersection of Woodinville-Redmond Road and NE 124th.
Services by health care professionals include urgent medical care, treatment for chronic illnesses (hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol problems, thyroid issues, dermatology), physical exams, blood work, EKG's, minor surgery, lab testing and women's health exams. No emergency room services are provided. Clinic appointments may be made at (425) 747-9966.
The Health Clinic professional fees structure is discounted at least 10 percent lower than "usual and customary charges" and there are discounts for those in need. The clinic traditionally serves patients with high medical deductibles and those with no health care coverage or who have fallen through health care safety nets. Fee payment is by check or credit card. More information on the Health Care Clinic is available at www.mobiliehealthcare.com or www.wacathedral.org.
