Computers at Woodinville Library

Introduction to the World Wide Web (beginning): This is a hands-on class for people who are beginners on the World Wide Web. Class size is small and you must register in advance. Sign up for one of the classes below, and learn how to use the Web.
   Thursday, May 3, 6:30 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 8, 10 to 11:30 a.m.; Thursday, May 10, 6:30 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 12, 10 to 11:30 a.m.; Tuesday, May 15, 6:30 to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, May 22, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
   Introduction to Excel: Hands On: This class is a brief introduction to using Microsoft Excel and is intended for people with no spreadsheet experience. Bring a 3.5" floppy disk to class. Class size is small, and you must register in advance. Sign up for one of the classes below and learn how to use Excel to make worksheets, charts, and other projects. Tuesday, May 1, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
   Introduction to Excel: Lecture and hands on. This class starts with an Excel lecture in the meeting room and finishes with hands-on experience using Excel on the library's computers. This is an introduction to Excel and is intended for people with no spreadsheet experience. Bring a 3.5" disk to class. Saturday, May 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
   Advanced Excel: This class requires previous experience using Excel or taking the class Introduction to Excel first. Learn advanced features of Microsoft Excel in this class. Thursday, May 17, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
   Introduction to Word: Hands-on. This class is a brief introduction to Microsoft Word, and is intended for beginners. Bring a 3.5" disk to class. Sign up for one of the classes below and learn how to use Word or type letters, reports, and more. Thursday, May 17, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
   Please register in advance for these classes by phoning the Woodinville Library at (425) 788-0733. Class sizes are very small, with waiting lists, so please call to cancel a registration if necessary.
