Car hit by fire engine responding to structure fire

*At approximately 12:22 p.m. on May 4 the Woodinville Fire & Life Safety District (WFLSD) was responding to a structure fire in Duvall. The fire engine hit a single car in the intersection at 212th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Woodinville-Duvall Road.
  

Woodinville man dies in car crash

*A celebration of the life of Matthew T. Griggs, 18, will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, at the Woodinville Alliance Church, 13940 NE 166th.

Ruth 'Eleanor' Ceis

*Eleanor Ceis, 83, passed away peacefully at home in Bothell on April 25. A celebration of Eleanor's life is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting Children's Hospital.

*Memorial services were held April 21 for former Woodinville Weekly writer John Chamberlin, 85.
  
  

Ikebana Exhibition features Japanese flower arrangements

*The annual Ikebana Exhibition will be held May 11 and 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park, 1400 E. Prospect, Seattle.

Angels Among Us, the Gift of Laughter

*The Mary M. Clise Guild of Children's Hospital is planning their sixth annual luncheon and auction, Angels Among Us, The Gift of Laughter to be held on Thursday, May 17, at the Ste. Michelle Winery, in Woodinville.Over 250 Eastside and Seattle area women are expected to attend.
