Woodinville violinist to attend prestigious music school

Jaime Marcello, a 14-year-old 9th grader from Timbercrest Junior High and the Northshore Home School Network Program in Woodinville, has been admitted to the prestigious Meadowmount School of Music for the 2001 summer session.
   The seven-week summer school is for accomplished young violinists, violists, cellists and pianists training for professional careers in music.
   Performance opportunities are given in weekly master classes and two concerts each week.
   Marcello was awarded a Seal of Outstanding Achievement and was a Concerto Competition finalist in the 2001 Seattle Young Artists Music Festival last month.
   He currently attends the Vancouver Academy of Music in Vancouver, Canada, and previously attended the Seattle Conservatory of Music.
   He is a member of the Vancouver Academy Symphony Orchestra and the Seattle Youth Symphony, as well as the Timbercrest Junior High Strings Orchestra.
   Jaime in the son of Jaime and Anita Marcello, owner of the Woodinville Licensing Agency.
