Kenmore sewer line work to begin

Construction will soon begin to enlarge a King County sewer trunk line in Kenmore. A new, larger pipe will be installed along 73rd Avenue NE and NE 204th Avenue, between NE 191st Street and the King-Snohomish county line to convey growing volumes of wastewater from the Snohomish County part of King County's regional wastewater service system.
The sewer trunk line replacement will require street closures and detours along the entire pipe alignment for several months. Construction will begin this month and is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2001. King County has worked with the city of Kenmore to reduce construction impacts on traffic.
