KMPS to join Woodinville to present 4th of July Celebration

The City of Woodinville recently announced a promotional partnership with KMPS 94.1 to present a variety of activities and entertainment for the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. The JB Instant Lawn site, along NE 145th Street in Woodinville, will feature not only an extravagant 20 minute display of pyrotechnics, but a full evening of entertainment and family activities.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. with entertainment beginning on the Family Entertainment Stage at 6:30 p.m. The festival will feature four large inflatable amusement rides for children plus arts and crafts activities. A wrist band provides each child unlimited access to the rides.
The highlight of the evening will be the 20-minute fireworks display by Entertainment Fireworks of Olympia beginning at 10:30 p.m. Families are welcome to bring a picnic lunch or purchase food and beverage from several vendors which will be open for business when the gates open at 6 p.m.
Redhook Ale Brewing will be featuring a beer garden in their parking lot, across from the event site on NE 145th Street.
An expanded free Metro bus shuttle service is being provided again this year. Guests are encouraged to park at the Woodinville Metro Park n' Ride lot, on NE 140th or at Northshore Junior High School on NE 160th. Shuttle buses running every 5 - 10 minutes will transport families directly to the site and return them to their vehicles immediately following the conclusion of the fireworks.
The Woodinville Family 4th of July Celebration is being sponsored by The City of Woodinville and KMPS 94.1 FM, and presented by Redhook Ale Brewery, JB Instant Lawn, Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery and Columbia Winery, in conjunction with Willows Lodge.
