Fifth Grade Transition night approaches

This year, the fifth annual Fifth Grade Transition night will be held on Thursday, June 7. It will consist of comprehensive student orientation activities, a parent information session and dinner for fifth graders and their parents. All Riverview fifth graders and their parents are invited to this fun-filled and informative evening.
After school on June 7, fifth grade students will arrive at Tolt, by bus (Carnation Elementary students will walk), at approximately 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they will eat a snack (provided by Tolt) and break into small groups led by Tolt staff members.
They will participate in an interactive tour of the Tolt campus, and meet administrators, specialists and sixth grade teachers.
At 6:45 p.m., parents should meet their child on the lawn in front of Tolt, where there will be designated areas for each elementary school.
At this time, students and parents will proceed to the cafeteria to enjoy a meal provided by the Tolt, Cherry Valley, Carnation, Eagle Rock and Stillwater PTSA's.
After dinner, students will go on a Tolt Scavenger Hunt around the campus, and parents will attend an information session and meet Tolt administrators and staff.
Free child care will be available, if needed. Please call the Tolt Counseling Center to reserve space, at (425) 844-4607.
For information, call Meagan Allen at Tolt Middle School at (425) 844-4608.
