Contributors and community made auction a 'rousing success'

We want to thank all the businesses, individuals, and families who made contributions to our "Raise The Roof" Community Benefit Auction sponsored byTolt Congregational Church. It was declared a "rousing success" thanks to these generous people.
Approximately $5,500 was raised to benefit the home that Tolt Congregational Church is co-sponsoring for Habitat for Humanity of East King County. This home and 19 others will be built in two weeks this summer in a "Blitz Build" on Snoqualmie Ridge.
Our theme this year was "Cinco de Mayo." The event included dinner, a silent and live auction, a souvenir stand, a raffle of six items, and supervised activities for children. Over 150 people attended the event to eat, socialize, and spend money for this worthy cause.
We never could have raised this type of money for Habitat for Humanity without the hard work of many members of our church and the generous contributions of friends and the business community.
We invite the wider community to join us in thanking all who helped.
   With joy and thanksgiving,
   Kathy Crummer and Cindy Sattler
