*May 22: Police responded to the report of an auto theft in the 17600 block of Woodinville-Snohomish Road.

*Country Village in Bothell is sponsoring its first art market.

Country Squire holds grand opening celebration

*Country Squire in Woodinville will celebrate its grand opening June 5-9.


*Jennifer Wells and Tony Miller have announced their engagement. The couple are planning a Sept. 22 wedding at the Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church.


*Lester Rowan passed away peacefully in the morning hours of May 24 at the Evergreen Convalescent Center in Kirkland.

Burns hospitalize Carnation man

*A Carnation man suffered burns over 20 percent of his body last week after gasoline he was pouring into a truck carburetor caught fire.
