A 'bearable' win for Fall City kids

by Sandee Ballestrasse
Students at Fall City Elementary took part in this year's "Teddy Bear Patrol" drive sponsored by KLSY Radio and the Washington State Patrol. The drive ran from Feb. 28 to April 6.
The kids donated bears for patrol officers to give to children in traumatic situations such as medical emergencies. The school held a contest to see which class could collect the most bears.
Mrs. Erica Ribary's first grade class brought in 101 teddy bears, earning an April 20 pizza luncheon.
The school brought in a total of 781 bears, the most for the entire Snoqualmie Valley School District.
