Thieves strike cemetery

Plant thieves struck the Carnation Cemetery last week, stealing a five-foot tall arrangement placed on a grave early in May.
The owner of the plant described it as a silk tree with a zig-zag truck and pink flowers, set in a planter with pink geraniums.
The planter was a plastic tub from Molbak's. A lavender mum was also taken. The owners are pleading for the safe return of the plant, no questions asked.
Anyone with information on the location of the plant may contact the city of Carnation.
