The air is now clear
How interesting to read the letter in the May 28 Woodinville Weekly entitled "They are waiting for a valid reason for the burn ban."
For many weeks now some ruralites have argued that the burn ban should be lifted out of an environmental concern for the increased amount of road traffic involved with waste removal.
In the May 28 letter, however, their real agenda becomes clear. They would rather just burn their debris than pay for its removal. While this type of attitude is both selfish and irresponsible, at least we now understand the motivation behind it.
The air is now clear.
