Wastemobile in Carnation
   Special one-day visits to Carnation by the Household Hazardous Wastemobile will occur in June and September as part of a service level study administered by the King County Solid Waste Division.
   If products with the words "Toxic, Poisonous or Hazardous" appear on a product label in your home, the substance not only poses a threat to humans and pets, but the environment as well.
   Don't dump those unwanted products down the drain or in the garbage. Residents can drop their hazardous materials, during operation hours only, at no charge, at the King County Hazardous Wastemobile at Tolt Middle School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.on June 30 and September 1. Tolt Middle School is located at 3740 Tolt Ave. (Hwy 203), one-half mile south of Carnation on the east side of Tolt Ave.

   Dance team holds garage sale
   The newly formed Cedarcrest High School Competition Dance team will hold a fund-raising garage sale on June 16, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Duvall Church in downtown Duvall.    Girls hoops camp
   The Cedarcrest Girls Basketball team is holding a Riverview Girls Hoops camp July 31-Aug. 3, at Cedarcrest High School. This is an opportunity for girls ages K-12 to have fun and increase their skill level. This is a day camp; grades K-4 go from 9- 10:30 a.m. for a camp fee of $40, grades 5-8 go from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $45 and grades 9-12 go from 1:30-4 p.m. for $50. There is no fee for current "Wolfpack" members.    Special Father's Day lunch
   All fathers near and far, friends and family, are invited to the Sno-Valley Senior Center on Thursday, June 14, at noon, for the Father's Day Spectacular lunch featuring roast beef with gravy, scalloped potatoes, Italian vegetables, whole wheat roll and a slice of All-American apple pie. Sno-Valley Senior Center is located at 4610 Stephens Ave. in Carnation. A donation is asked for if self or spouse is age 60-plus, if under 60, the cost of lunch is $5.75.    Early childhood classes
   Register now for CSSV's Fall Early Childhood classes for 3-year-olds. Children must be three by Aug. 31. For the younger child, CSSV offers fun and exciting toddler classes for children ages 12 months to three years. Both classes take place at the Duvall office located at 15904 Main St. Preschool and toddler open house to be held Thursday, June 21. The toddler class will be open for visiting from 10 a.m.-noon, the preschool class is open from 4-6 p.m. For registration information, call (425) 788-7924.

   Pumps & Grinds afterhours
   Trilogy will be performing at Pumps & Grinds on Saturday, June 16. Trilogy is a classic rock and originals trio consisting of two guitar players and a singer. Their emphasis is on acoustic guitar classics such as ELP and the Moody Blues, among others. They've been performing around the Puget Sound area for five years and have honed their sound in such a way that is sure to please all ages.
