Obituary: Cornelius Sinnema

Cornelius Sinnema was born Nov. 12, 1920, and passed away June 11.
   Cor is survived by his wife, Helen, of 51 years, and their three sons: James and Lynn of Anchorage; Jerry and Sally and their daughters Tasha, Shana and Katie of Carnation; and Jay and Stacy and their daughter Sheridon of Spokane; his sister Jeanne Simon and her husband Warren of Monroe and their three children; Cor's brother Edward's three children of Carnation and Federal Way and Edward's longtime companion Dolores of Carnation.
   Cor and brother Edward were born to Pete and Helen Sinnema in Kalispell, Mont. In 1924 they relocated to Duvall where his sister Jeanne was born. Cor spent his life as a dairy farmer in the Snoqualmie Valley.
   He truly loved farming and the outdoors. You could always count on Cor to lend someone a helping hand. He was loved by all and will be truly missed.
   In memory of Cor, a reception was held at the Vincent Community Club on June 15. Remembrances may be made to the Sno-Valley Senior Center, P.O. Box 4152, Carnation, WA 98014.
