African Village opens at zoo

Woodland Park Zoo's latest exhibit offers a look into the world of an African village. In the village, which is surrounded by a boma (traditional fence enclosure), visitors will find a teacher's house, a traditional Kikuyu house, a community pavilion, well and grain storages. From the Nyika Primary School is a view of the zoo's African Savanna, alive with giraffes, zebras, fringe-eared oryx and patas monkeys.
