Police Beat

June 19: Two vehicles were damaged and vandalized in the 19400 block of Woodinville-Snohomish Road. The owner parked the cars along the busy road in an effort to sell them. When he checked on them, he discovered the windows broken and stereos removed. The suspects had also tampered with the ignition.
   June 19: Officers responded to a report of vandalized vehicles in the 13000 block of NE 175th. During the night, several of the locked cars had been broken into and ransacked. The suspects gained entry by breaking windows and then pried off the ignition covers. Officers lifted several sets of prints and the case is under further investigation.
   June 17: Woodinville officers recovered a stolen car in the 17600 block of Garden Way NE. The 90's Ford Ranger was reported stolen on June 16 of this year. Officers found the car in good condition, carefully parked and the doors locked. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing inside was disturbed.
   June 15: A victim reported to police that he had rented a trailer to his nephew during the past few months. However, when the nephew fell behind on his rent, the victim told him to move out. The victim told the suspect to clean up the trailer and specifically remove some marker and pen marks on the wall. When the victim returned to inspect the clean up, he discovered his trailer trashed! The suspect had spray-painted walls, burned furniture, broken fixtures and shot various objects with a BB gun. The location of the suspect is unknown at this time.
   June 15: A woman in the 13100 block of NE 203 reported to police that she heard a loud noise outside her door. When she went out to inspect, she discovered that someone had thrown a bag of groceries and eggs at her door. Police arrived to investigate, but the woman had already cleaned the scene of the crime.
