Man found dead in Bothell home; police investigation underway
BOTHELL - Police are treating the death of a 55-year-old Bothell man as a homicide. The man was found Wednesday, June 27, around 1:05 p.m. in his Bothell home which is located in the 11500 block of East Riverside Drive, by a relative. It is not known when the man died and detectives are not releasing details as to a possible cause of death in the interest of the investigation.
There were signs the victim had a struggle with someone inside the home. The front door had been forced open. This incident appears to be an isolated event as no one in the neighborhood reported any similar break-ins.
As of press time the home was still being treated as a crime scene as detectives continued their search for evidence. Information has been gathered and is being followed up on by investigators. A motive has not yet been determined and there are no suspects or persons of interest.
