Northshore celebrates Independence Day
(l-r)Tracey Strousse and Marcy Ushimaru (top middle) dressed for the day as they celebrated the 4th of July at Woodinville's All-American Picnic and Fireworks Show last week. Record numbers enjoyed games, entertainment, picnics and fireworks choreographed to music at the JB Instant Lawn site. Children enjoyed the four inflatable bouncers and an arts and crafts tent just for them.
Elsewhere in Northshore, Bothell brought in the Fourth under sunny skies with a day full of family fun including parades with clowns, horses and floats, a Friday night dance, skateboarding, entertainment by local bands and a re-creation of the Battle of Concord.
