Child car seat inspections and bicycle helmet fitting in Issaquah on July 20

Eastside Fire & Rescue is teaming up with King County Emergency Medical Services to provide free child car seat inspections and proper bicycle helmet fitting for children on July 20, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fred Meyer Store in Issaquah. Seats can be checked without the child, but a more complete check can be done when children are present. For rear-facing car seats, bring two bath towels that will be used to help install the seat at the proper angle.

   Bicycle Helmet Fitting & Sale - Firefighters with Eastside Fire will be
   properly fitting bicycle helmets on anyone who either brings their own
   helmet or would like to purchase a helmet for $6.00. Firefighters see an
   increase in bicycle injuries during the summer months. Drop by with your
   child and a helmet so we can show you how your helmet should be properly
   worn.
