Going Out: A Musical Passport to the World

On Wednesday, Aug. 8, Arts Onstage in the Park presents "Rouge" performing the passionate music of Paris 1930-1960. Most of the program is sung in French, but vocalist Janet Rayor's introductions in English and her expressive delivery of these songs mean that you won't need a phrasebook. With humor, dance and music "Rouge" wins all ages and cultures.
Sharing the bill with "Rouge" is the Gina Sala Ensemble.
The free performance begins at 6:30 p.m. A city-sponsored shuttle will provide access for anyone who may have difficulty walking to the park. This van is not wheelchair accessible. The shuttle departs from Duvall City Hall every half hour from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the concert and provides return service.
McCormick Park is located at Main St. (Hwy. 203) and NE Stephens St. in Duvall. There is plenty of free public parking at the Metro Park and Ride just north of the park. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and come early to stake out a prime spot.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Cedarcrest Performing Arts Center at 29000 NE 150th St. in Duvall.
