Northshore hires two new principals

Sharon Lehwalder will become the new principal of Canyon Park Junior High replacing Roy Adler who is moving to the Issaquah School District. For the past 11 years Lehwalder has worked in the Mukilteo School District as an administrator in the district office and at both the junior and senior high levels. She worked in curriculum development and instruction, communication with parents and the community and educational leadership.
   Lehwalder holds a Masters in Education in school administration from Western Washington University. She and her husband Phil live in Kirkland.
   Bob Jones will become the new principal of Shelton View Elementary replacing Gary Shelly who has accepted a position at Central Washington University. Jones has had 18 years of experience in the Northshore School District as both a teacher and an administrator. Most recently, Jones served as the assistant principal of Woodmor Elementary.
   Jones earned both his Masters in Education in school administration and his principal certification from Western Washington University. He and his wife Larri live in North Seattle.
