Rockeroos, Sabir Sisters in concert

Children of all ages will enjoy the infectious sounds of the Rockeroos during lunch at DeYoung Park on Thursday, Aug. 16, at noon.
   Before the concert Donald Davis will share his Appalachian stories from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Community Center Evergreen Room.
   The stories are part of the DeYoung Cultural Education Workshop Series. The concert and the storytelling are free. DeYoung Park is located at 13680 NE 175th St., across the street from Molbak's.
   On Sunday, Aug. 19, the Sabir Sisters, a well-known Canadian quartet, will perform at Woodinville City Hall Plaza in a free concert at 6 p.m. They are a high-energy family of fiddlers who entertain with various musical styles.
