Air pollution suggestions

The still weather has caused air-pollution levels to rise. According to the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency there are a few simple actions people can take to reduce smog levels:
   1. To the extent possible, limit driving, link trips and carpool or bus to work.
   2. Refuel in the cooler evenings.
   3. Wait until the heat wave breaks to use gas-powered yard equipment.
Health-sensitive individuals should limit prolonged outdoor exertion. Go to the sites www.airwatchnorthwest.org and to www.pscleanair.org for further information.
