Wanted: persons to write pro/con statements

The Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area (PRSA) is placing a ballot issue before the voters on Nov. 6 to fund the construction of an Adult Day Center facility operated in conjunction with the Northshore Senior Center. The bond amount will be for $3,895,000. As part of the election process, the PRSA is seeking to create two committees to draft language for the voter's pamphlet. One committee will be responsible for drafting language in support of the proposition and the other would draft language opposing the proposition. Persons interested in serving on the committee are asked to contact Patricia Parkhurst at (425) 489-3380 or pat.parkhurst@ci.bothell.wa.us.
