Bothell unveils its new cable TV channel
Bothell has unveiled its latest communication tool. Bothell Community Television (BCTV) Channel 21 premiered on Aug. 17 providing Bothell citizens with up-to-date information on city events, news, meetings plus city-produced programs and educational programming from other governmental agencies such as Washington State Department of Natural Resources and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Bothell AT&T Broadband customers who live within the city of Bothell limits will have access to the 24-hour government cable channel.
AT&T Broadband has agreed to provide a government access channel for the city's use and fund all capital costs in starting a new government television channel. The capital investment provided by AT&T Broadband was $350,000.
