A Monroe man was injured August 18 after the ultralight aircraft he was flying went out of control and crashed in a field north of Duvall.
Art Groeneweg, 36, was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he was listed in satisfactory condition last week with fractures to his neck, right shoulder, leg and arm.
A Harborview spokesperson said Groeneweg was not in intensive care, so he probably did not suffer any paralysis.
Jan Jorgensen, Snohomish County Sheriff's spokesperson, said the accident happened near the pilot's home in the 2600 block of SR-203.
"I understand that the pilot was about 50 to 60 feet in the air and he crashed right after banking sharply to the left." she said. "I don't know if he had any mechanical trouble."
